3300+ Climbing Blog
Full Sail students have spoken! Our Top 3 Finalists for 3300+Climbing’s third round of the artist development initiative have been revealed to be Spanish-English singer-songwriter Nat’Lee, alternative singer-songwriter Lévie, and Americana indie-rock band Beemo. Over the next month, the Artist Development course on campus will work with these three artists, and pitch them to the Music Business and Entertainment Business student body. Then votes will be tallied for the final winner. But before then, lets get to know the final top 3 a little better.
Nat’Lee is a Spanish-English singer songwriter from Miami. She started out at a very young age as a dancer, and was a background dancer for other artists before she decided to focus on music herself. Nat’Lee found her sound just two years ago, however her talent is beyond her years. She debuted on the Telemundo-produced talent show “Yo Soy El Artista,” where she wound up making it to the semi-finals. Although she has kept in contact with a few key players from the show, Nat’Lee admits that not much came from her time on the show. So, she has taken her career into her own hands. Currently, she is promoting her latest EP, and playing regular Thursday gigs at Club Havana in Miami. If chosen, Nat’Lee plans to use the resources from 3300+Climbing to work on all aspects of her career.
Lévie is an Orlando based alternative singer-songwriter. The Brazilian-born Full Sail grad has a unique alt-rock sound, which he has been perfecting well before his time at Full Sail. Lévie is no stranger to the live music scene having played live shows all over the Orlando Florida area. From the Full Sail Live Venue, to Backbooth downtown, and even an Orlando City Soccer Pregame Tailgate later in May, Lévie is not afraid to show the world what he’s got. Currently, he is working on releasing a new EP, and making music videos. If chosen, Lévie plans to use the 3300+Climbing services to boost his career in many ways. Specifically, he would like to gain more media publicity and regional radio exposure.
Beemo is an indie-rock group that draws from Americana and bluegrass influences. Beemo is no stranger to the music scene, having been a band for almost 12 years. Their latest lineup has been together for about 2 years, but they have been making waves in the Orlando music scene. Their unique sound has gained them much local attention. From pubs, to festivals, to arts & cultural fairs, the band has had a steady flow of shows come their way. Beemo has also gotten radio play here in Orlando on WPRK Rollins, and even out of state at WMHU Pennsylvania. Currently, the band is hard at work promoting their latest EP, Wide Awake, and staying busy booking shows around town. If chosen, Beemo would like to use the 3300+Climbing resources to work on publishing and distribution.
