I better be hearing lots of yes's through the computer, especially if you're a local Orlando artist or band! Taking place at The Rosen Centre Hotel Orlando, the 2-day Music Placement Conference offers incredible networking and career opportunities for filmmakers, producers, songwriters, publishers, attorneys, directors and music supervisors! If you fall under any of those categories, this conference is for you!
Friday's schedule will consist of networking, a music showcase and award show for all attendees to enjoy! Saturday will feature expert panels and workshops, covering important industry topics including, but not limited to, marketing & branding, copyright & royalties, distribution - even video game music placement! Plus, there will be even more opportunities to network on Saturday (have I emphasized how important that is in the industry yet?).
Don't worry if you haven't gotten your tickets yet. There's still plenty of time to snag some for you, your friends, your coworkers - even your grandmother if she's looking for some excitement! Students can use the code "STUDENT" for a special discount. Valid school ID is required. Tickets start at $25. That's only 3 hours of work at a minimum wage job! Isn't life great?
Click here to be directed to the Music Placement Conference's website for more information. Hope to see you guys there!

For many people, the New Year brings the opportunity to start fresh. We spend the first few weeks of the year listening to people rave about the new diet they're starting or the new outlook on life that a simple change in number has given them. But what we don't hear too much about are those artists continuing to work for their big break into the industry - a process they most likely started years ago. The beginning of a New Year gives them the chance to restart the clock. This year will be the year, they say as the clock strikes midnight. And we here at 3300+ Climbing are ecstatic for these artists. We believe in them. In fact, we're rooting for artists of our own interest.
Here's what our members have to say about our most anticipated artists of 2018!
As for me, the artist I've chosen isn't quite as undiscovered as he had been when I first discovered him. But he is definitely still on the rise! You may have heard his hit single, "I Like Me Better", once or twice on the radio. Maybe three times, who knows? But he's given me second thoughts on my desire to be drunk and in love in New York City, that's for sure.
Who are you most excited to follow in 2018? Leave a comment down below and let us know!
This is a blog following the students' work at 3300+ Climbing.
