A: What is your process for creating a new song?
YG: The process for me creating a new song is to create the hook first and then the verses. Also sometimes I make my own beat or use a producer that has flavor.

YG: Soulja Boy, Lil Wayne, Soulja Silm, Eminem, Mike Jones, Ice Cube and a few others.
A: What is your ultimate goal as a musician? Be the next Jay Z? Chance The Rapper? Rihanna? Or maybe a local musician performing at local venues?
YG: My ultimate goal would be to change the world and culture. I plan to go global with my music and perform around the world.
A: What have you done to reach your goals as an artist?
YG: I have reached out to radio stations, attended music conferences, travel with my music, performed at colleges, built relationships with DJs and build my fan base.

YG: I need a more diverse crowd and a bigger fan base than what I have now. Also I need diehard supporters.
A: Why do you think you would be a good candidate for artist of the week?
YG: I’m the overlooked talent of South Florida that’s been making noise for over four years. I have a wave that can take over any ocean, which is dance and turn up music.
