Looking for something fun to do with a great cause? Well, look no further! Join us for DP Unplugged, on Thursday, May 12th. This concert is supporting The Dan Perichino Cancer Fund, and features performances by great Orlando artists. This benefit concert will take place at 7:30pm at Backbooth in Downtown Orlando, and features performances by rock group Felicity, indie-rock singer-songwriter Conflicting Motive, acoustic hip-hop duo G-Ro & POB, and many more.
Dan Perichino is a former employee of Full Sail who first received treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2012. After a short remission period, in late 2015, Dan’s cancer came back. Now Dan needs the help of the Orlando community to fight cancer again, hopefully for the last time. This event is organized by Dan's good friend and Full Sail Branding instructor Ken Degilio, Felicity guitarist Andrew Rapier, and Full Sail Entertainment Business grad students.
A minimum donation of 5 dollars at the door gets you in for a night of fun and music, all while supporting an amazing cause. A lot of love and community camaraderie has gone into planning this event, and it is going to be an event you won't want to miss. So, come down to Backbooth on Thursday, May 12th, and support Dan in his fight to beat cancer for good!
