3300+ Climbing Blog

Yesterday 3300+Climbing had the pleasure to host Kandy Apple Redd at Full Sail University, a funky R&B duo and their cousin Young POPular, that were literally born into the industry. These amazing artists are the grandkids of the legendary George Clinton, of the iconic P-Funk. The group was open to discuss with us how it was to grow up in this musical family and how they discovered their path in the creative world.
This session started with a documentary made about Kandy Apple Redd and their path in the music industry, followed by a great discussion about how to begin a musical carreer, the importance of self-branding, some frustrations and problems about the industry and tips and tricks on how to be successful as an artist.
Tonysha Nelson left us a beautiful comment, "We are excited to share our story with the students at Full Sail as they launch their own careers in music. We hope to share both the joys and frustrations of this life that chose us, and to offer our encouragement while we celebrate this thing we all love...music"
Without a better way to wrap-up, the session ended with an outstanding performance by Kandy Apple Redd, where they performed two of their singles.
Once again we would like to thank these artists for coming to share their experience and knowledge with us!
If you are interested in learning more about them and listen to their music make sure you follow their Spotify, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
